My mum looks to be suffering from early onset dementia, it’s a strange time as we don’t want to limit her independence. I really needed to find something like a tracker to give the family peace of mind in case she got confused or went missing. I cannot recommend this one enough, it is so simple to use and comes with a handy lanyard/keyring. The whole family and her carer have downloaded the free APP too.

My father has always refused to use mobile phones (bloody nonsense, he says). But we did persuade him to put one of these on his key ring. He’s quite hard to keep track of at the best of times but this is a great way of being able to find him if we have to. And you know what? He’s started calling me as well…

I purchased this tracker about a month ago for my father who is prone to wandering. We used to just put a note with an address on in his pocket but that didn’t work as he didn’t remember he had it with him. The tracker was easy to set up and the only issue is battery management. We’ve solved this by getting his carer to charge it for an hour while she’s in the house. The whole family shares the app and there’s now a where’s Dad Whatsapp group. It’s really good to see when he’s out and really simple to go and find him. I think the price and subscription are very reasonable – some other products are at least twice the price. I have also been impressed by the ubeequee customer service team who are friendly and responsive. Overall, I would strongly recommend this product. It’s saved us a lot of worry.

This tracker is just the job to give my family peace of mind.I have early onset dementia and often get lost outside .It helps my daughter to know where I am at any time of day or night. If I’m out and lost I press the tracker three times and my daughter knows I need help. This helps to stop false alarms if it’s pressed by accident. Its not anywhere near as expensive as the local authority one we have looked at.I feel a lot better knowing my daughter has peace of mind.Itsvery easy to set up and use.I wear it round my neck when going out .I would prefer a wrist tracker to wear all the time because this one dangles in everything ,but it’s not a huge problem.Maybe one will be made in the future to wear on the wrist.Overall this is a very handy ,easy to use tracker

I looked at lots of products and this seemed by far the cheapest, which worried me a little. I did not order the voice subscription but used the free data trial then subscribed. My daughter helped me get the app up and running and I have to say it’s very good. My husband does tend to wander a lot and if he’s slipped out I can find him very quickly. I recommend putting it on charge every night since it seems to work best when fully charged. I lost connection once but the customer care team were very helpful. Overall, I’m very pleased with this and it’s taken a lot of worrying away. If you know what it’s like to have a husband with dementia you will understand.

Could I just take the chance to thank you for designing this product? My mother went missing last month and was alone for 36 hours. We believe your tracking device will help to avoid this happening again. For that we will be eternally grateful to you.

this tracker is a (literal) lifesaver. My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 5 years ago and until recently had been doing fine. In the past year he has deteriorated but is still very reluctant to lose his independence and move in with myself or into a care home. We have found this tracker to be a huge comfort for both of us as he has never been good with mobile phones. We have attached this to his keys as he always takes his keys with him (even when wandering) and we check in every few days to see him and make sure its charged it up (it’s also great that it notifies us when its low on battery!). It’s been a great relief to be notified when he leaves his home and be able to call him to check why and if he needs any help. This tracker has allowed him to keep his independence, whilst remaining safe and for that we will be forever grateful.

This is the cheapest and most reliable dementia tracker we have tried, but we wish that it came in a watch form as that way my dad would never forget to wear it.

I’m not particularly tech savvy so was a bit worried that this would be over complicated but it is very simple to use and the support team where always happy to answer my questions and make sure I was doing everything correctly. Best customer experience I’ve had in a very long time and a product to match

Whilst I would never normally be bothered to write a review, I felt compelled because I really do love this tracker. It has saved our bacon multiple times, and for that I will forever be grateful.
It arrived quickly, was easy to get going and came with very clear instructions which made the process that much easier.
It is extremely accurate when using GPS, but you need to make sure that Local Base Station is turned off as this gave off a few weird locations. Since making sure its off we have had no problems.
It is very small and easily attachable to a variety of things such as necklaces, jeans, purses which means that my Aunt can wear it regardless of what she’s wearing that day.
As for the cost, its extremely affordable compared to other dementia products we looked at. Whilst I would happily pay more, it is amazing to see that there is a more accessible product on the market for lower income families too.

Seems to work fine so far – using it to track a friend with dementia so people can take him out places without them worrying that he might get lost.
Only problem is frequency of having to recharge the tracker. Might get two so I can swop them over – easier than waiting around whilst it charges.
